Let's give a silent pause in the punk world to the loss of a great band: The Movielife. Why they broke up, I have no idea...they say for reasons that deal with each of their futures. And to think that they had the new album out this year, and I bought it...that and the Drive-Thru Records DVD, where they are featured in music videos...I'll miss them terribly.
On a note of graver tones, I'd also like to pause for the people who passed away on the SI Ferry yesterday. I was driving in driver's ed (where I ran a red light and went into the wrong side of traffic...) and we were listening to the Yankee game on the radio. They kept on interrupting the broadcast to talk about how the ferry had smashed into the dock, and how people had died, and some had lost limbs. Really young people are left with no legs, no limbs...it's frightening. To think that if I went to Stuy I could have been one of those people on the 3:00 PM ferry, riding home and ending up without limbs.
School has been icky, the weather isn't particularly nice, neither is the building. Everything has just been blah...
SAT Class today was so boring, I thought I'd fall asleep. And the guy hangs over me while I'm doing math problems and watches me like a hawk. Do you know how scary that is?! I can't concentrate, let alone see with his hulking shadow over me...
Oh yeah, and I took a quiz thingy...weird.
